Taunton, Temporary Road Closure Due To Blockage Clearing Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Creech St Michael Temporary Closure of St Michael Road and North End
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: St Michael Road - from the junction with St Michael Close to the junction with Dillons Road; and North End - from the junction with Dillons Road, northwards for a distance of 295 metres. A total distance of 415 metres. This Order will enable DMT to clear blockages on behalf of Nexfibre.
The Order becomes effective on 10th October 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 14th October 2024 and last until 16th October 2024 between the hours of 09:30 -15:00 for a total of 3 days.
