close the following length of road;

The East Sussex (A267 New North Street, Hellingly) (Temporary 40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
To allow Sunninghill Construction to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily restrict all traffic using the following length of road to a speed not exceeding 40 mph:-

New North Street – from the A22 Boship roundabout to the junction with B2104 North Street.
The Order commences 30 September 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. which will temporarily close the following length of road;

The Order commenced 31 October 2023 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic eastbound via B2193 Station Road, Priory Street, Southover High Street – C7 Bell Lane, Winterbourne Hollow – A277 Western Road, High Street – A2029 Market Street, North Street, Little East Street, Eastgate Street & westbound via A277 High Street, Western Road – C7 Winterbourne Hollow, Bell Lane – B2193 Southover High Street, Priory Street, Station Road.
The Order commences 30 September 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. To allow East Sussex County Council Passenger Transport Team on behalf of East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily suspend parking in the following length of road;
Temporary Parking Suspension
High Street – from the junction with B2193 Friars Walk to the junction with U5159 Broomans Lane.
The Order commences 1 October 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 1 October 2024 & 31 March 2026 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (Public Footpath Ringmer 15b (part), Ringmer 16a,
Ringmer 18a (part))
(Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024
To protect public safety during a housing development, the Secretary of State has extended the above East Sussex County Council’s Order made on 22 March 2024 under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following footpaths:
Temporary Footpath Closure
Part of Public Footpath Ringmer 15b will be closed to all users between TQ 4503 1288 and TQ 4505 1293 for a distance of 50 metres. An alternative route will be available roughly parallel to the west.
The whole of Public Footpath Ringmer 16a will be closed to all users between TQ 4503 1288 and TQ 4511 1292. An alternative route will be available to the north between Ringmer 15b and where Ringmer 16a meets Ringmer 16b, 18a and 18b.
Part of Public Footpath Ringmer 18a will be closed to all users between TQ 4511 1292 and TQ 4523 1280 for a distance of 200 metres. An alternative route will be available roughly parallel to the north.
The closure will be in force for 18 months from 1 October 2024, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier, which after this period will require an extension from the Secretary of State, should the footpaths still be unavailable to use.
