What is happening?

GORCHYMYN TRAFFIG DROS DRO CYNGOR BWRDEISTREF SIROL PEN-Y-BONT AR OGWR (PONT REILFFORDD COYTRAHEN LANE) 2024 RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Peny-bont ar Ogwr, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), wedi creu Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno’r cyfyngiad dros dro a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.Mae’r Gorchymyn oherwydd gwaith adnewyddu sylweddol i drosbont y rheilffordd ac er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd.Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 30/09/2024 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis neu nes bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf.Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud o 30/09/2024 i 22/11/2024.

Atodlen-Ni fydd unrhyw berson yn achosi i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd Coytrahen Lane o’r A4063 i Bettws Road o 25 metr i’r gorllewin o’r bont reilffordd i 25 metr i’r dwyrain o’r bont reilffordd am bellter cyffredinol o 50 metr. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw trwy Coytrahen Lane o’r A4063 i Bettws Road, Bettws Road, Pen-y-Bryn Road, A4065 Bryn Road, yr A4063 Maesteg Road, Coytrahen Lane o’r A4063 i Bettws Road ac i’r gwrthwyneb.Ni ellir cadw mynediad at yr holl wasanaethau brys yn ystod y cyfyngiadau hyn ac eithrio drwy’r llwybrau gwyro sydd ar waith. Bydd mynediad i bob eiddo yn cael ei gynnal bob amser trwy’r llwybrau gwyro sydd ar waith.Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiad ond yn berthnasol ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig a ragnodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (RAILWAY BRIDGE COYTRAHEN LANE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below.The Order is due to a major refurbishment of rail overbridge and is in the interest of public safety. The Order will come into force on the 30/09/2024 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken from the 30/09/2024 to 22/11/2024.

Schedule No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Coytrahen Lane from A4063 to Bettws Road from a point 25 meters to west of rail bridge to a point 25 meters to east of rail bridge for an overall distance of 50 meters.The alternative route for vehicles is via Coytrahen Lane from A4063 to Bettws Road, Bettws Road, Pen-y-Bryn Road, A4065 Bryn Road, A4063 Maesteg Road, Coytrahen Lane from A4063 to Bettws Road and Vice Versa.Access to all emergency services cannot be maintained during These Restrictions other than via the diversion routes in place. Access to all properties will be always maintained at all times through diversion routes in place.The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
