TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - NIGHT WORKING

Mill Street, Paisley Bank Street, Paisley

The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following Length of road in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:

Closure of Mill Street Northbound at Seedhill Road Junction.

Closure of Mill Street Southbound at Gauze Street Closure of Bank Street at Christie Street.

Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.

Emergency access will be maintained. Access to premises will be maintained where possible.

Alternative Routes:

- Closure of Mill Street Northbound at Seedhill Road Junction -

Diversion 1 via Bridge Street, Cotton Street, Gauze Street Diversion Ends.

Diversion 2 via Seedhill Road, Kilnside Road, Diversion Ends.

- Closure of Mill Street Southbound at Gauze Street - Diversion via Gauze Street, Cotton Street, Bridge Street, Diversion Ends.

- Closure of Bank Street at Christie Street -Diversion via Christie Street, A761 Glasgow Road, Diversion Ends.

This notice will be in force from Monday 28th October 2024 until Monday 11th November 2024.

This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
