TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF BRIDLEWAY 37, WHERSTEAD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Bridleway 37, Wherstead from Bridleway 37A for 635 metres north westbound to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. There will be no diversion route.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7320 ASSINGTON ROAD, STANSFIELD Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U7320 Asslngton Road, Stansfield from Chalcot for 50 metres eastbound to facilitate pole renewal works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Asslngton Green, Lower Street, Plough Hill, Lower Green, Asslngton Green and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C401 FISHPONDS WAY, HAUGHLEY Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C401 Fishponds Way, Haughley from the junction with Eve Balfour Way to the junction with Wood View to facilitate safety dunng access to telecommunications pole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this penod. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Fishponds Way, Old Street, Duke Street, The Folly, Tot Hill, Fishponds Way and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 26/09/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Sunbelt Rentals. Tel: 0370 050 0792.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C228 KING GEORGES AVENUE, LEISTON Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C228 King Georges Avenue, Leiston from the junction with Lovers Lane to the Railway Line to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Lovers Lane, the B1122, Cross Street, Sizewell Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/09/2024 - 04/10/2024 from 7pm - 6am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1543 WELL STREET, BURY ST EDMUNDS Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1543 Well Street, Bury St Edmunds from no. 45 for 20 metres northbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes will be:
LNorthgate Street, Cadney Lane, Cannon Street and no vice versa
2. Orchard Street, Church Row, Cannon Street, Northgate Street and no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/09/2024 - 27/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order
may remain in force for 18 monthsjor longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3625 WARREN HILL, WOODBRIDGE Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3625 Warren Hill, Woodbridge from no. 2 to the junction with Hilly Fields to facilitate fibre installation. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Old Barrack Road, Ipswich Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/09/2024 - 30/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order
may remain in force for 18 months Tor longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE, SUSPENSION OF DOUBLE YELLOW UNES, PROHIBITION OF WAITING
AND LAYBY CLOSURE ON PART OF THE U4478 OLD NORWICH ROAD. U4736 OLD NORWICH ROAD AND A140 NORWICH ROAD, IPSWICH, WHITTON AND MENDLESHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following road on the dates and times set out in this notice:
* U4736 Old Noiwich Road, Whitton bus only section from 120 metres south of Hill View Business Park entrance for 540 metres southbound.
This is to facilitate the safe transportation of an abnormal load from Ipswich Docks to Ipswich Road, Eye. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
For the duration of this closure there will a suspension of double yellow lines, prohibition of waiting
and a layby closure.
Suspension of double yellow lines:
* U4478 Old Norwich Road, Ipswich from Norwich Road to 20 metres north of Tooks Road, Ipswich. Prohibition of

It is intended that the closure and prohibition of waiting will operate on the following dates 06/10/2024 from 12.01am - 11.59pm and 13/10/2024 from 12.0fam - 11.59pm with the exception of the U4736 Old Norwich Road, Whitton bus lane which will be closed from 6pm on 05/10/2024 - 11.59pm on 06/10/2024 and 6pm on 12/10/2024 - 11.59pm on 13/10/2024.
The layby closure and layby parking restriction will operate from 12pm on 05/10/2024 until 11.59pm
on 06/10/2024 and from 12pm on ft/10/2024 until 11.59pm on 13/10/2024.

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980: SECTION 90A ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS ACT 1984: SECTION 23 & 25 NOTICE OF PROPOSED ROAD HUMP AND PARALLEL CROSSING ON TAYFEN ROAD, BURY ST EDMUNDS
Suffolk County Council proposes to construct a raised table road hump on Tayfen Road, Bury St Edmunds. The raised table road hump will be located at 13.5 metres east of the junction with St Andrews Street North. It will be placed across the full width of the road and will be 12.5 metres long (including ramps) and 75 millimetres in height.
This raised hump will incorporate a parallel crossing (zebra crossing with cycle facilities) and will assist pedestrians crossing Tayfen Road at a level surface with the footway. The centre line of the proposed parallel crossing is to be located approximately 13.5 metres east of its junction with St Andrews Street North.
A map showing the location of the raised table road hump and parallel crossing and the council's reasons for this proposal may be seen with advanced notice at Bury St Edmunds Library. Sergeants Walk, St Andrews Street North, Bury St Edmunds IP33 1TZ, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm; Tuesday and Fnday 8.30am - 7.30pm; Saturday 8.30am - 5pm; and Sunday 10am - 4pm; excluding Bank Holidays and Public Holidays.
