What is happening?

(BRITANNIA ROAD/NED LANE/ BANK O DAM, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Britannia Road/Ned Lane/Bank O Dam, Slaithwaite from its junction with Carr Lane to its junction with Ned Lane/Britannia Road to its junction with Manchester Road/Ned Lane to its junction with Manchester Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Manchester Road, Morley Lane, Market Street, Scar Lane, James Street, Carr Top Lane, Brook Lane, Share Hill Road, Lower Wellhouse Road, Radcliffe Road, Carr Lane and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday 13 October 2024 from 16:30 hours and will remain in force until 21 October 2024 to 00:00 hours - closure Mondays to Saturday 18:30 to 00:00 hours and Sundays 16:30 to 00:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(BRIESTFIELD ROAD, GRANGE MOOR, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Briestfield Road, Grange Moor from its junction with Steeple Avenue, Grange Moor to its junction with South View Terrace, Grange Moor PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Briestfield Road, Fixby Lane, Back Lane, Liley Lane vice versa

It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday 15 October 2024 11:30 hours to 15:30 hours and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(POLE GATE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Pole Gate, Huddersfield from its junction with Pole Gate, Huddersfield to its junction with Laund Road, Huddersfield PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Pole Gate, New Hey Road, Quebec Road, Waller Clough Road, Mellor Brook, Highfield Road, Moor Side Lane, Pole Gate and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 14 October 2024 and remain in force for approximately 1 day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(ZETLAND STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Zetland Street, Huddersfield from its junction with Queen Street, Huddersfield for approximately 140 metres along Zetland Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via One way only - Cross Church Street, Kirkgate, Lord Street, St Peter’s Street, Southgate, Queensgate, Zetland Street It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 14 October 2024 19:00 hours and remain in force until 15 October 2024 06:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(PRINCE STREET, NEWSOME, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Prince Street, Newsome from its junction with Stile Common Road, Newsome to the end PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 17 October 2024 and remain in force until 23 October 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Springwood Street, Springwood from its junction with Springwood Street, Springwood to its junction with Merton Street, Springwood PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

(GIBSON STREET, OAKES, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Gibson Street, Oakes from its junction with New Hey Road, Oakes to a point outside no. 29 Gibson Street/right turn suspension onto Gibson Street and right hand lane closures in both directions on New Hey Road opposite Gibson Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via unaffected part of Gibson Street, Wellington Street, Dean Street, New Hey Road and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 17 October 2024 and remain in force for approximately one day between 09:00 hours to 23:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(JAGGER LANE/WELLHOUSE LANE, KIRKHEATON, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Jagger Lane/ Wellhouse Lane, Kirkheaton from a point approximately 290 metres from its junction with Dalton Bank Road to a point approximately 150 metres North of its junction with Cold Royd Lane and for the whole of Wellhouse Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 16 October 2024 and remain in force until 17 October 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(BANK END LANE, CLAYTON WEST, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bank End Lane, Clayton West from a point approximately 60 metres South East from Bank End Lane to a point approximately 130 metres West from Bank End Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 1 October 2024 and remain in force for until 2 October 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(BAGDEN LANE, CLAYTON WEST, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bagden Lane, Clayton West from its juntion with Pool Hill Lane/Brow Lane/ Bagden Lane to its junction with Ackin Royd Barn PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bagden Lane, Wheatley Hill Lane, Cuttlehurst, Wakefield Road, Miller Hill, Barnsley Road, Dry Hill Lane, Pool Hill Lane, Bagden Lane and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 1 October 2024 and remain in force until 2 October 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(DUNDAS STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dundas Street, Huddersfield from a point outside property no. 19a Dundas Street to a point outside property no. 26a Dundas Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Dundas Street, Market Street, Castlegate, Trinity Street, Westgate, Upperhead Row-One way only

It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 28 September 2024 and remain in force until 29 September 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(DOBB TOP ROAD, HOLMEBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dobb Top Road, Holmebridge from a point outside Kilnbank House to a point outside property no. 85 Dobb Top Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Dobb Top Road, Smithy Lane, Bank Lane

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday 30 September 2024 for approximately one day only between the hours of 09:30 to 15:30 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
