What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(LOWER CHURCH ROAD, SANDHURST)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along:

a) Lower Church Road, Sandhurst from the junction with A321 High Street and Ambarrow Lane.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via A321 High Street, A321 Wokingham Road, Ambarrow Lane, Mill Lane and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry carriageway patching works.

The proposed Order will come into operation on the 2nd October 2024, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place from 2nd October 2024 at 09:30 until 3rd October 2024 at 14:30.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
