Botley Road, Burridge - Temporary Road Closure due to Excavation Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A3051 BOTLEY ROAD, BURRIDGE, FAREHAM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A3051 Botley Road between its junction with Whiteley Lane and a point approximately 200 Metres North of said junction.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A3051, A334, A32, A27, A3051
DURATION OF ORDER: from 7th October 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be in place from the 11th October 2024 and will be required for no longer than 4 days, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Connect It Utility Works to carry out excavate trench for new looped HV electric connection to development. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: nrswa@cius.co.uk
Connect It Utility Works will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
