TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF C52 TIBBERTON LANE
(TIBBERTON PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C52 Tibberton Lane Road from outside the property known as ‘School House’ to outside the property known as ‘2 Pear Tree Cottages’ for a distance of approximately 530 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for safe access for pole testing works.
The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 14th October 2024 only or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF 400871 ROAD FROM COLDWELL BOTTOM TO THE COTTAGE (COWLEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400871 Road from Coldwell Bottom to The Cottage from outside the property known as ‘Red House’ to its junction with the Road from A436 to Coldwell Bottom for a distance of approximately 591 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for tree felling works.

The reason for the said closures and restrictions is to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.
There will be no waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
The said roads will be closed and restricted at various times, on a rolling programme, commencing 14th October 2024 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closure/restrictions taking effect. The intended Order may permit the closures and restrictions of the said roads in any order, or simultaneously as required, and it is anticipated all such works will be completed by 28th March 2025

The reason for the closure is for Fibre network works.
The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 on 14th October 2024 and 15th October 2024 only or until the works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 490385 Sandy Lane from its junction with ‘Bafford Approach’ to its junction with ‘Highland Road’ for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF C81 DOWN HATHERLEY LANE
(DOWN HATHERLEY PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C81 Down Hatherley Lane, from its junction with the A38 to its junction with Frog Furlong Lane, for a total distance of approximately 730 metres.
The reason for the intended closure is to install a new water connection.

EMERGENCY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATHS AWC 6, AAS 7 & AAS 8
(ASHCHURCH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council has by this Notice extended the temporary closure under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) of part of Public Footpath AWC 6 and Public Footpath AAS 7 as detailed in the Schedule below.

Part of Public Footpath AWC 6 in the Parish of Ashchurch, from its junction with Public Footpath AWC 8 extending in a generally easterly direction for approximately 541 metres to its junction with Public Footpath AAS 8 and then carrying on as Public Footpath AAS 8 in the parish of Ashchurch in a generally easterly direction for approximately 563 metres to its junction with the Natton.
Public Footpath AAS 7 in the Parish of Ashchurch, from its junction with Public Footpath AAS 8 in a generally southerly direction for approximately 489 metres to its junction with Homedowns.
The said Public Footpaths fall within Ashchurch Parish in Tewkesbury Borough within the County of Gloucestershire.
The said closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst construction works take place.
The said Public Footpaths were originally closed by Emergency Notice on 2nd November 2022 and extended until 13th December 2022. Works were not completed during that time scale and it was therefore necessary to make a Temporary Closure Order authorising the said Public Footpaths closures for up to six months from the date of initial said Notice. Works were not completed during that time period and therefore the Secretary of State extended the Order until 2nd November 2024.
However the said works are still ongoing and the Secretary of State has therefore granted a further extension of the said Order until 2nd May 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is earlier.

(BROCKWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council has by this emergency notice temporarily closed under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), part of Public EBW 9 in the Parish of Brockworth is to be temporarily closed to users under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) from a point at OSGR SO 89883/16433 in a generally easterly direction for approximately 70 metres to its junction with Cycleway from southwest of 8 Nightjar Road to northeast of Ribble Close at OSGR SO 89948/16426 shown on the Order Map by a solid black line marked A to B.
The public footpath falls within Brockworth Parish in the Tewkesbury Borough, Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public while emergency footpath repairs are completed.
The public footpath was originally closed for 21 days by emergency Notice commencing 3rd May 2024 and was subsequently extended by a further notice and then by an Order.
However works are still not complete and the Secretary of State has now granted an extension of the said Order until 3rd May 2025, or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
Alternative Route – No alternative route. Emergency and Pedestrian access to adjoining properties will be maintained.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath DHU 17 as detailed in the Schedule below;

The paths fall within the Parishes of Whitminster and Moreton Valence in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to protect the public while construction works relating to Planning Application S.21/0465/FUL are carried out.
The Public Footpath was originally closed by an Order which commenced 13th May 2024. As works are still ongoing, the Secretary of State has granted an extension of the Order until 13th May 2025 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
