What is happening?

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 30/09/2024 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Bellway Homes & their contractors to undertake housing development site works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

During the closures, alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed at https://one.network.

Footpath E9 will be closed from grid ref: 474342, 318168 to grid ref: 474336, 318127.

GRANGE ROAD, HUGGLESCOTE
TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to implement a speed restriction of the length of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice. The temporary restriction will enable Cadeby Homes to construct and thereafter safely enter and egress a temporary access to their site and to subsequently carry out its removal and any other associated works.

No speed limit imposed by this order applies to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations. The Order will come into effect on 30/09/2024 and will continue in force until revoked. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected.

TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
Grange Rd, Hugglescote from a point approx. 204m south east of its Jct. with Blackham Rd to a point approx. 380m west of Usherwood Wy.
