Enfield - Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures and Parking Suspensions due to Water Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION (14.1)
The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.
LYTTON AVENUE, BIDEFORD ROAD AND MARRILYNE AVENUE EN3 – 4352
Reason for 14(1) Order – Water works
Operational Dates:
Lytton Avenue EN3
26 September 2024 for 4 months;
Bideford Road EN3
20 November for 3 months; and
Marrilyne Avenue EN3 13 January 2025 for 3 months, or until works are completed in each location.
The general effect of the Order will be to:
- Lytton Avenue EN3 – close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road for the entire length of street in phases.
- Bideford Road EN3 – close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road for the entire length of street; and
- Marrilyne Avenue EN3 – Close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road between Bilton Way and Bideford Road EN3.
The above restriction will operate as when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, while these roads are closed local diversions will be in operation.
POWYS LANE N13 4353
Reason for 14(1) Order – Water works
Operational Dates:
30 September 2024 for 3 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on both sides of this road from a point 27 metres from the junction with A406 Bowes Road to the junction with Westminster Drive.
MORSON ROAD EN3 – 4354
Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works
Operational Dates:
5 October 2024 for 1 day or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order will be to close the Northern arm of this road at the junction of Meridian Way for approximately 22 metres eastwards. While this road is closed, local diversions will be in operation.
HOLTWHITES HILL EN2 – EM45
Reason for 14(1) Order – Follow on from 14.2 notice
Operational Dates:
24 September 2024 for a further 2 days until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order will be to close Holtwhites Hill EN2, between its junctions with Holtwhite Avenue and Kirkland Drive. While this road is closed, local diversions will be in operation.
