BARNSLEY COUNTY BOROUGH
FOOTPATH 112 TEMPORARY CLOSURE
The Secretary of State has authorised an extension to close Barnsley County Borough footpath 112 from Old Mill Lane to its junction with Barnsley County Borough footpath 111 for a further 12 months until 30 September 2025.
Reason: Closure of footpath to facilitate vehicular highway improvements.

HOYLAND FOOTPATH NOS. 5 AND 6 AND WORSBROUGH FOOTPATH NO. 40 TEMPORARY CLOSURE
The Secretary of State has authorised a further extension of the above named Order to close sections of Hoyland footpath nos. 5 and 6 which run between Shortwood and Rockingham to the north of Dearne Valley Parkway and Worsbrough footpath no. 40 connecting to Kestrel Way for a further 6 months until the 30 April 2024.
Alternative footpaths will be provided on site throughout works.
Reason: To enable final building construction works to be completed.
