What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC140372207: The City of Manchester (Various Locations, Crumpsall Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Hermitage Road, Greenhill Road, Parsonage Street, Bradwen Avenue, Hazelbottom Road, Chime Bank, Smedley Road.
The alternative routes for traffic will be signed locally.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Micro Asphalt surface dressing.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from 30 September 2024 to 11 November 2024. The order shall come into operation on 30 September 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
