MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC140267905: The City of Manchester (Dale Street & Port Street, Piccadilly Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic & No Waiting No Loading) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Dale Street from Newton Street to Tariff Street and on Port Street from Dale Street to Hilton Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Newton Street, Piccadilly, Lena Street, Dale Street, Ducie Street, Peak Street, Laystall Street, Tariff Street, Hilton Street & Dale Street, Paton Street to join onto diversion. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate defect rectification. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 30th September 2024 to 4th October 2024. The order shall come into operation on 30th September 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
