PUBLIC NOTICE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED - SECTION 16A TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ORDER 2024 REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SERVICES AND PARADES SUNDAY 10th NOVEMBER 2024, SUNDAY 9th NOVEMBER 2025, SUNDAY 8th NOVEMBER 2026, SUNDAY 14? NOVEMBER 2027 & SUNDAY 12? NOVEMBER 2028

NOTICE OF PROPOSALS

1. THE Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order to enable the holding of the Remembrance Sunday Services and Parades THEY PROPOSE to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions: -The following roads will be closed to through traffic at the times the signs are displayed between 09:30 and 13:00 on Sunday 1001 November 2024, Sunday 9th November 2025, Sunday 8th November 2026, Sunday 14th November 2027 & Sunday 12th November 2028.

Beckenham

St Georges Road - for its entire length.

Albemarle Road - between its junctions with St George's Road and High Street.

High Street - between its junctions with Albemarle Road and Beckenham Road/Croydon Road/Rectory Road. Rectory Road - between its junctions with Beckenham Road/Croydon Road/High Street and The Drive. The Drive - for its entire length. Church Avenue - for its entire length.

Bromley Road - between its junction with High Street and St George's Road.

Croydon Road - between its junction with High Street/Rectory Road/Beckenham Road and its junction with Westfield Road. Beckenham Road - between its junction with High Street/Rectory Road/Croydon Road and its junction with Hayne Road.

Biggin Hill

Church Road - from its junction with The Ridings to junction with Main Road Lebanon Gardens - for its entire length.

Main Road - between its junctions with Lebanon Gardens and Jail Lane. Jail Lane - between its junctions with Main Road and Dowding Road

Bromley Town

Mitre Close - for its entire length.

Beckenham Lane - between its junctions with Mitre Close and High Street. High Street - between its junctions with Beckenham Lane and Church Road. Church Road - for its entire length.

Chislehurst

Chislehurst High Street - between its junctions with Willow Grove and Centre Common Road. Centre Common Road - for its entire length. Church Row - for its entire length.

School Road - between its junctions with Church Row and Royal Parade. Royal Parade - between its junctions with School Road and Bromley Road.

Bromley Road - between its junctions with Centre Common Road/Royal Parade/Bromley Lane and Watt's Lane. Bromley Lane - between its junctions with Bromley Road/Centre Common Road/Royal Parade and Kemnal Road. Hayes & Coney Hall

Station Hill - for its entire length. Warren Road - for its entire length.

West Common Road - between its junctions with Warren Road and Hayes Street (B265). Hayes Street - between its junctions with West Common Road and George Lane. Ridgeway - for its entire length.

Heathfield Road - from its junction with Westerham Road (A233) to its junction with Fishponds Road

Mottingham

Court Road - for its entire length.

Mottingham Road - between its junction with Court Road and Grove Park Road. Grove Park Road - between its junction with Mottingham Road and its junction with Court Farm Road. West Park - between its junctions with Grove Park Road and West Hallowes.

Orpington

Spur Road - between its junctions with Gravel Pit Way and High Street/Sevenoaks Road/Station Road Sevenoaks Road - between its junctions with Charterhouse Road and High Street/Spur Road/Station Road. Station Road - between its junctions with The Approach and High Street/Sevenoaks Road/Spur Road High Street - between its junctions with Church Hill and Spur Road/Sevenoaks Road/Station Road Church Hill - for its entire length. Old Priory Avenue - for its entire length.

Bark Hart Road - between its junctions with Old Priory Avenue and Lodge Crescent.

Penge

Kent House Road - Between its junction with High Street and its junction with Thesiger Road. Penge High Street - between its junction with Kent House Road and its junction with St John's Road.

Petts Wood

Queens Way - for its entire length. Tudor Way - for its entire length.

Willett Way - between its junctions with Tudor Way and Priory Avenue.

Greencourt Way - between its junction with Willet Way and the western boundary of 2 Greencourt Way. Petts Wood Road - from its junction with Tudor Way westbound for its entire length.

Shortlands

Kingswood Road - between its junctions with St Mary's Avenue and Mays Hill Road Church Road - for its entire length.

West Wickham

Station Road - between its junctions with Croft Avenue and High Street. Wickham Court Road - for its entire length.

Corkscrew Hill - between its junctions with Wickham Court Road and Bencurtis Park.

2. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. NOTHING in this order shall prevent pedestrian access at any time to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which the order relates, or to any other premises which are accessible from such a road.

4. ACCESS to properties will be maintained as far as is practicable from either side of the closure as appropriate. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times.
