Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:
(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

BEESTON REGIS

Britons Lane from its junction with Hillside Road until its junction with Priory Close to facilitate footway reconstruction works from 30th September to 25th October 2024 (but may continue until 25th April 2025). Cawston Road from 510m west of its junction with High Street for 100m westwards to facilitate patching works from 1st to 2nd October 2024 (may continue until 14th November 2024). FAKENHAM

Norwich Road from its junction with Queens Road for 200m eastwards to facilitate installation of new traffic lights from 10th to 30th September to 4th October 2024 (may continue until 13th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Queens Road, Highfield Road, Greenway Lane, Holt Road, Pensthorpe Road, Norwich Road.

FOULSHAM

Reepham Road from its junction with Kelling Hall Road for 600m westwards to facilitate BT pole testing works from 2nd to 3rd October 2024 (may continue until 14th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Reepham Road, The Street, Reepham Road, B1145 (Bawdeswell Road, Reepham Road, Norwich Road), A1067 Fakenham Road, Foxley Road, Station Road, High Street, Market Hill (Bawdeswell, Foxley, Foulsham, Bintree, Themelthorpe).

FELMINGHAM

Cromer Road from 40m south of its junction with Brick Kiln Lane for 260m southwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council Project for Offshore Windfarm works. The road will be temporarily subject to a 30mph speed restriction from 12th October 2024 to 4th October 2028. Alternative route is via: N/A. This restriction is also pursuant to section 15(2) of the Act.

GORLESTON-ON-SEA

Cambridge Avenue from its junction with Cambridge Way for 20m north-westwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council carriageway repairs on 30th September 2024 (may continue until 15th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Oxford Avenue.

GREAT YARMOUTH

Rampart Road to Garrison Road Footway from its junction with Rampart Road for 30m northwards to facilitate installation of new poles on behalf of Openreach from 30th September to 2nd October 2024 (may continue until 13th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Rampart Road, Northgate Street, Garrison Road.

GREAT YARMOUTH

Deneside from its junction with Yarmouth Road for 70m northwards to facilitate Cadent works for a new gas connection from 30th September to 2nd October 2024 (may continue until 13th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Yarmouth Way, North Quay, South Quay.

GREAT YARMOUTH

Nelson Road North (northwards) from its junction with Factory Road for 300m northwards to facilitate gas main replacement works from 30th September to 25th October 2024 (may continue until 25th April 2025). Alternative route is via: St Nicholas Road, Priory Plain, Fuller’s Hill, Alice Row, Nelson Road, Lawn Avenue, Caister Road, Barnard Crescent, Barnard Avenue.

HEMPSTEAD

Hole Farm Road from 100m south of its junction with Hempstead Road for 200m eastwards to facilitate excavation works for a new windfarm project from 30th September to 1st October 2024 (may continue until 12th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Hempstead Road, B1159 North Walsham Road, Green Road, Baconsthorpe Road, Cherry Tree Road, The Green, Hempstead Road (Plumstead, Hempstead, Baconsthorpe).

HOLKHAM

Walsingham Road from 364m west of its junction with Wells Road for 20m eastwards to facilitate installation of ultrasonic chamber in the verge from 1st to 3rd October 2024 (may continue until 14th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Walsingham Road, Burnham Road, Caley Street, C368 Dry Road, Holkham Road, A149 King’s Lynn Road, North Creake, Burnham Thorpe.

LANGHAM – Holt Road from its junction with Langham Road for 50m north eastwards to facilitate UK Power Networks works for a new electricity connection from 1st to 3rd October 2024 (may continue until 14th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Holt Road, Langham Road, Morston Road, Blakeney Road, North Street (Morston, Blakeney, Langham).

MARSHAM – Alliston Street from 335m west of its junction with A140 Cromer Road for 120m westwards to facilitate works for a new electrical connection from 30th September to 4th October 2024 (may continue until 15th November 2024). Alternative route is via: A140 Cromer Road, Buxton Road, High Street, Alliston Street (Marsham, Heyngham).

NORTH WALSHAM – Mundesley Road from 210m east of its junction with B1145 North Walsham Bypass for 150m eastwards to facilitate works for a new site entrance and cabling works from 4th October to 8th November 2024 (may continue until 8th May 2025). Alternative route is via: Little London Road, B1145 North Walsham By-pass, Lyngate Road, Mundesley Road, Grove Road, Bacon Road, Little London junction.

NORTH WALSHAM – Yarmouth Road from its junction with Thirlby Road to its junction with Grange Court to facilitate namely access to underground structures for a new customer electrical connection from 29th September to 4th November 2024. Alternative route is via: Yarmouth Road, Grammar School Road, Norwich Road, A149 North Walsham By-pass/ Yarmouth Road, Yarmouth Road (Norstead, North Walsham).

POSTWICK WITH WITTON – Hooletshoose Road from 160m south of its junction with The Green for 300m southwards to facilitate tree removal from 4th to 5th October 2024 (may continue until 16th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Hooletshoose Road, Stonebridge Road, Mill Common Road, B1159 Walcott Road/ Coast Road, Happisburgh Road, North Walsham Road, Hooletshoose Road, The Green.

POSTWICK WITH WITTON – Leeder Hill from its junction with Oaks Lane for 120m eastwards to facilitate cabling works for Building Digital UK from 30th September to 2nd October 2024 (may continue until 13th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Oak's Lane, Culling's Hill, Church Road, Ferry Lane.

POSTWICK WITH WITTON – Ferry Lane from its junction with Church Road for 140m eastwards to facilitate installation of a new fibre network for Building Digital UK from 3rd to 10th October 2024 (may continue until 21st November 2024). Alternative route is via: Church Road, Hooletshoose Road, Ferry Lane.

REEPHAM – Whitwell Common from its junction with Whitwell Common for 350m westwards to facilitate Building Digital UK installation of a new fibre network from 30th September to 4th October 2024 (may continue until 15th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Whitwell Common Road, Whitwell Road.

REEPHAM – Kerdiston Road from its junction with Stoney Lane to its junction with Holly Lane to facilitate works to create a new entrance for a new customer connection from 2nd to 4th October 2024 (may continue until 4th April 2025). KING'S LYNN – 2Y2/20 Cycle path from its junction with Tennyson Avenue Railway Bridge to its junction with Bridge Way to facilitate slurry sealing and micro surfacing works from 30th September to 5th October 2024 (may continue until the 16th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Gayton Road, Wootton Road, South Wootton Lane, Low Road.

SOUTHERY – Churchgate Street from 400m east of its junction with Westgate Street for 400m eastwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council footway maintenance works between 07:00 and 16:30 from 30th September to 8th November 2024 (may continue until the 8th May 2025). Alternative route is via: Churchgate Street, Mill Lane, Feltwell Road, Upgate Street.

WEST DEREHAM – Church Road from 64m northeast of its junction with West Dereham for 20m north–eastwards to facilitate Anglian Water meter exchange works between 08:00 and 13:00 on 2nd October 2024 only whilst signs indicating closures are in place (may continue until the 13th November 2024). GREAT AND LITTLE PLUMSTEAD – Crowes Loke from its junction with Salhouse Road to its junction with Sandhole Lane to facilitate Building Digital UK installation of a new fibre network from 25th September to 11th October 2024 (may continue until 22nd November 2024). GREAT AND LITTLE PLUMSTEAD – Post Office Road from its junction with Salhouse Road to its junction with Blofield Corner Road to facilitate Building Digital UK installation of a new fibre network from 23rd to 25th September 2024 (may continue until 6th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Salhouse Road, School Road, Hall Road, Park Lane, Blofield Corner Road (Blofield, Great and Little Plumstead).

GREAT YARMOUTH – Trafalgar Road from its junction with Marine Parade for 20m westwards to facilitate water meter exchange works from 23rd to 27th September 2024 (may continue until 8th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Nelson Road Central, St Georges Road, Rodney Road, Lancaster Road, Marine Parade.

MATLASKE – Wood Road from its junction with Itteringham Road for 40m north–westwards to facilitate Anglian Water ducting installation works from 24th to 26th September 2024 (may continue until 7th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Wood Road, Matlaske Road, Itteringham Road.

PASTON – Paston Road from its junction with North Walsham Road for 200m north–eastwards to facilitate Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd new vehicular access for Windfarms from 26th September to 16th October 2024 (may continue until the 27th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Paston Road, Bacton Road, Hall Farm Road, Church Road, Rectory Road, The Street, North Walsham Road (Paston, Bacton).

REEDHAM – Witton Green from 30m south of its junction with Pottles Lane for 60m southwards to facilitate essential drainage works from 23rd to 27th September 2024 (may continue until 8th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Witton Green, Pottles Lane, Freethorpe Road, Station Road, The Havaker.

SALHOUSE – Thieves Lane from its junction with B1140 Norwich for 280m north westwards to facilitate works for duct laying and cabling works by Building Digital UK from 26th September to 4th October 2024 (may continue until 15th November 2024). Alternative route is via: Thieves Lane, Lower Street, B1140 Mill Road/ Norwich Road.

SALHOUSE – Vicarage Road from its junction with B1140 Bell Lane for 30m eastwards to facilitate carriageway patching from 23rd to 24th September 2024 (may continue until the 5th November 2024). TRUNCH – Trunch Road from 40m west of its junction with Brick Kiln Road for 450m north eastwards to facilitate tree cutting, cabling and repairs to underground telecoms from 23rd to 27th September 2024 (may continue until the 8th November 2024). WALCOTT & WITTON – Happisburgh Road from its junction with B1159 Coast Road for 870m westwards to facilitate vehicular access for works vehicles in connection with the Norfolk Offshore Windfarm Project as required by a safety audit. The road will be temporarily subject to a 30mph speed restriction from 24th September 2024 to 23rd September 2028. Alternative route is via: N/A. WELLS-NEXT-THE-SEA – Wells-next-the-Sea Footpath 27 from its junction with Freeman Street for 40m southwards to facilitate new gas connection works from 23rd September to 1st October 2024 (may continue until 12th November 2024).
