(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Bramble Road to its junction with Western Road a distance of approximately 240m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2024 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WD9W127X - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Western Road, Daws Heath Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 26th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Road, Hockley in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 75m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30001629137 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Ashingdon Road, West Street, Bradley Way, Southend Road, Southend Road Roundabout, Southend Road, Rochford Road, Harp House Roundabout, Manners Way, Cuckoo Corner Roundabout, Prince Avenue, Prince Avenue North, Prince Avenue And Nestuda Way Roundabout, Prince Avenue, Arterial Road, Southend Arterial Road, Fairglen Interchange, Chelmsford Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout, Chelmsford Road, Rawreth Lane, Hullbridge Road and vice versa (with access only into Lower Road).
The Order will come into effect on 26th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)
(No.21) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 26th September 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cadogan Terrace, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 35m south west of its junction with Kenneth Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st October 2024 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231011359 - Indecon Building Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chantry Way, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Weavers Close to its junction with Saffron Walk a distance of approximately 80m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2368433 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Long Meadow Drive, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 125m south east of its junction with Meadow Court for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30033167995 - UK Power Networks). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Hall Lane, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Brackendale Avenue to its junction with Station Approach a distance of approximately 50m. The closure is scheduled to commence at 21:00 5th October 2024 until 05:00 7th October 2024 (continuous) and again 21:00 12th October 2024 until 05:00 14th October 2024 (continuous) (2 weekends) or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10004134 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while traffic flow installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Southend Arterial Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From A127 To West Mayne Eastbound for a distance of approximately 4200m in an easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of High Road North, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with A127 for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 30th September 2024 for 5 nights (21:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2368582/EP201EH2368772 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while vegetation/horticultural works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
