What is happening?

B977 - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (B977 Cothal – 30.09.24) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2024” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 30.09.24 for 12 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the B977 from the junction with the B979 to Cothal.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during carriageway repairs. An alternative route is available via the B979 and A947 and vice versa.
