What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF OAK LANE, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Oak Lane, Ipswich from Tower Street for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate works on underground cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be Northgate Street, Tavern Street, Hatton Court and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/09/2024 - 25/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U1047 FOUNDRY LANE, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1047 Foundry Lane, Ipswich to facilitate the installation of an electricity cable. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be St Peters Dock, Bridge Street, Vernon Street, Bridge Street, Star Lane, Lower Orwell Street, Key Street, College Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/09/2024 - 28/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C320 IPSWICH ROAD, NACTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C320 Ipswich Road, Nacton from Hilltop to Mill Lane to facilitate the installation of a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Church Road, from the C320 to Church Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/09/2024 - 29/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2114 PEPPERS WASH LANE, FRAMLINGHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2114 Peppers Wash Lane, Framlingham from its junction with the B119 to 170 metres northbound to facilitate replacing electrical cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1119, Rose Farm Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/09/2024 - 27/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1118 STRADBROKE ROAD AND THE U5690 BATTLESEA GREEN, WINGFIELD AND STRADBROKE
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
The B1118 Stradbroke Road for 40 metres southbound.
The U5690 Battlesea Green, Stradbroke from its junction with the B1118 for 40 metres southbound.
This is to facilitate overhead cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1116, the A140, the A143, the B1117, the B1118 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 23/09/2024 from 9.30am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Lower Road, Stowmarket Road, Violet Hill Road, Rattlesden Road, The Green, Green Road, The Street, Church Street, Heath Road, The Heath, Borley Green, Shelland Green, Shelland Road, Haughley Road, Onehouse Road, Forest Road, Union Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 23/09/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Church Hill, Pakenham Road, Norton Road, Ixworth Road, Thurston Road, The Street, Mill Road, Church Hill and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/09/2024 - 25/09/2024 from 8am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
