TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE C349 THE STREET, NACTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C349 The Street, Nacton to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be School Mill, Levington Road, Nacton Road, Bridge Road, Felixstowe Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/09/2024 - 06/10/2024 from 9.30am until 2.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C507 WINGFIELD ROAD, SYLEHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C507 Wingfield Road, Syleham from 25 metres southeast of Weybread Road for 20 metres south eastbound to facilitate the replacement of a stop tap and the installation of a smart meter. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1118, Syleham Road and vice versa
It is intended that the closure will operate on 30/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1630 PIER AVENUE, SOUTHWOLD
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1630 Pier Avenue, Southwold from Station Road to Marlborough Road to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Marlborough Road, Field Stile Road, Station Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/09/2024 - 01/10/2024 from 9am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U1047 FOUNDRY LANE, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1047 Foundry Lane, Ipswich to facilitate the safe operation of a crane for new development works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. The diversion routes will be:
1. Motor vehicle diversion - Bridge Street, Vernon Street, Bridge Street, Star Lane, Lower Orwell Street, Key Street, College Street and no vice versa
2. Pedestrian diversion - College Street, Bridge Street, St Peters Wharf and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/09/2024 -13/10/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Clare Road, Poslingford, the B1063, the A143, Wickham Street Road, Lower Green, Plough Hill, Lower Street, High Street, Clare Road, Stansfield, Stansfield Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 20/09/2024 - 24/09/2024 from 8am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2330 Post Office Road, Knodishall from 60 metres west of the junction with the B1069 for 10 metres westbound to facilitate disconnection of a water service. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1069, Mill Road, School Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/10/2024 - 03/10/2024 but, if necessary,
the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C550 MAGPIE HILL AND C551 CHURCH ROAD, REDGRAVE AND WORTHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C550 Magpie Hill, Redgrave from the junction with Slade Lane to the junction with Church Road and the C551 Church Road, Wortham from the junction with Magpie Hill to the junction with Bury Road to facilitate telecommunications fibre ducting and cabling works.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the A143, the B1113, Churchway, Redgrave Road, Magpie Hill and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/09/2024 - 04/10/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following footpaths:
• Footpath 22, Keddington
• Footpath 27, Keddington
• Footpath 12, Little Wratting
• Footpath 9, Little Wratting and
• Footpath 5, Little Wratting from the junction with Footpath 9 to the junction with Footpath 2, Keddington
This is to facilitate construction of infrastructure for the Great Wilsey Park development. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be Footpath 13 Little Wratting, Chalkstone Way, Footpath 2 Keddington and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/09/2024 - 20/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Burrell Road, Stoke Street, Bridge Street, Greyfriars Road, Franciscan Way, Civic Drive, Handford Road, Ranelagh Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 29/09/2024 from 12 noon - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 71, ALDRINGHAM CUM THORPE
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing Footpath 71, Aldringham Cum Thorpe from 55 metres northeast of Aldeburgh Road for 50 metres north eastbound to facilitate safe access during the construction of new housing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/10/2024 - 31/03/2025 (or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BOROUGH OF IPSWICH) (STOPPING, WAITING AND
LOADING PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2019 (BOROUGH OF IPSWICH) (BRAMFORD LANE) (5U4404) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (VARIATION N0.42) ORDER 202-
Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above order under Sections 1,2,4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which would substitute revision 1 of Map Tile GG118 in place of revision 0 of the same Map Tile and would substitute revision 2 of Map Tiles GF118 and GG119 in place of revision 1 of the same Map Tiles into the above-named 2019 Order, as amended.
The effect of this would be to introduce 'No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm' on Bromford Lane (5U4404) on its north-eastern side from the boundary of property numbers 115/117 Bromford Lane, for a distance of 431 metres in a north-west direction.
Exemptions to the waiting restrictions allow a vehicle to wait for so long as is necessary to board or alight or to load and unload for building, industrial or demolition works; for emergency services; for the maintenance of the road or its services and to fulfil statutory duties. The usual exemptions for blue badge-holders will apply.
Copies of the draft order, map showing the roads affected and the Council's reasons for the proposals, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday; also at Ipswich County Library, Northgate Street, Ipswich IP1 3DE, 9am to 6pm Monday; 9am to 7pm Tuesday; 9am to 6pm Wednesday and Thursday; 9am to 7pm Friday; 8.30am to 5pm Saturday; and 10am to 4pm Sunday.
