(A81 MILNGAVIE ROAD, BEARSDEN)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
On the 26 September 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works, and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on the A81 Milngavie Road, Bearsden between its junctions with Hillfoot Drive, Bearsden and Reid Avenue, Bearsden, by reason of works being executed on or near this road. This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Sunday, 13 October 2024 until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 20 October 2024.
Alternative Routes
The alternative routes will be by way of the A81 Milngavie Road, Bearsden; the B8049 Boclair Road, Bearsden; the A807 Auchenhowie Road, Milngavie; the A81 Glasgow Road, Milngavie; the B8030 Station Road, Milngavie; Woodburn Way, Milngavie; and Main Street, Milngavie and these routes will be sign posted. Park Road, Milngavie; the B8050 Craigdhu Road, Milngavie; the A809 Stockiemuir Road, Bearsden; the A809 Drymen Road, Bearsden; Canniesburn Toll Roundabout, Bearsden; and MacFarlane Road, Bearsden will also be sign posted.
