HYSBYSIR trwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar hyd Croesfan Reilffordd Penybedd sy’ri arwain o Heol Penybedd i’r A484 Pen-bre, ar hyd y ffordd yn ei chyfanrwydd i gyfeiriad y dwyrain.
Y ffordd arall ar gyfer traffig sydd am deithio tua’r gorllewin fydd parhau ar hyd yr A484 sy’n arwain i Gydweli am bellter o tua 710 metr i’r gyffordd ag arwydd ar gyfer Ystad Ddiwydiannol Pen-bre. Wrth y gyffordd troi i’r chwith a pharhau ar hyd y ffordd ddiddosbarth a adwaenir fel Heol y Maas Awyr am tua 308 metr hyd at y gyffordd a Heol Penybedd. Troi i’r chwith with y gyffordd a pharhau i gyfeiriad y de ar hyd Heol Penybedd er mwyn dychwelyd i fan sydd i’r gorllewin o’r man Ile mae’r ffordd ar gau.
Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau mewn grym tan fod y gwaith gosod croesfan dan y ffordd wrth y groesfan reilffordd a gwaith gwella, gan gynnwys symud Cerbyd Ffordd a Rheilffordd ar y rheilffordd dl uddi ar y rheilffordd wedi ei gwblhau.
Bwriedir i’r gwaith ddechrau am 00:00 ddydd Mercher, 25” o Fedi 2024 tan 23:59 ddydd Llun, red o Hydref 2024.
Lle bo hynny’n briodol gall Gorchmynion Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd dros dro barhau mewn grym am hyd at ddeunaw mis.

(Penybedd Level Crossing, Pembrey) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the Penybedd Level Crossing leading from Penybedd Road to the A484 Pembrey, for its entire length in an easterly direction.
The Alternative Route for West bound traffic will be to proceed along the A484 leading to Kidwelly for a distance of approximately 710 metres to the junction signposted Pembrey Industrial Estate. At the junction, turn left and proceed along the undassified road known as Airfield Road for approximately 308 metres to its junction with Penybedd Road. I urn left at the junction and proceed in a southerly direction along Penybedd Road to return to a point west of the closure.
The Order will continue in force until installation works of an under-road crossing at the level crossing and upgrade works, including the movement of a Road Rail Vehicle on and off the railway have peen completed.
It is intended that the works will commence at 00:00 on Wednesday the 25’’’ September 2024 until 23:59 on Monday the 7’’’ of October 2024.
Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
