What is happening?
Essex County Council
(Footpath 17, Blackmore) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To temporarily close footpath17, Blackmore in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Hay Green Lane to Wenlocks Lane approximately 1,106 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 30 September 2024 to 01 November 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the boardwalk is being replaced.
The alternative route will be via Hay Green Lane, Footpath 19, Blackmore, Wenlocks Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30 September 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Lane, Doddinghurst) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Doddinghurst in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Warren Lane to its junction with Dagwood Lane a distance of approximately 310m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st October 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA78186765 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Stocks Lane, Blackmore Road, Place Farm Lane, Church Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Sandpit Lane, South Weald) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sandpit Lane, South Weald in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 260m south west of its junction with Danbury Close for a distance of approximately 170m in a south westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st October 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit
(BC005KL1W000000063398DNO – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Sandpit Lane, Weald Road, Western Road, Western Avenue, Ongar Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hall Green Lane, Hutton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hall Green Lane, Hutton in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 125m west of its junction with Hutton Village for a distance of approximately 100m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th October 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30090315381 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable diverting works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Hutton Village, Hutton Drive, Quennell Way, Byron Road, Shelley Road and vice versa (with access only into Hall Green Lane).
The Order came into effect on 18th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
