What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH SITUATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF NO.2 HUNTON BRIDGE HILL, KINGS LANGLEY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated on the west side of No.2 Hunton Bridge Hill, Kings Langley from its junction with Hunton Bridge Hill south eastwards to its junction with Fernhills, a distance of approximately 153m ("the Footpath"). An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south side of Hunton Bridge Hill, the footway situated on the west side of Gypsy Lane and the footway situated on the north side of Fernhills.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpath.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 October 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN CHALFONT ROAD, MAPLE CROSS AND RUSHMOOR CLOSE, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Chalfont Road, Maple Cross from its junction with Oakhill Road north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Shire Lane, a distance of approximately 2110m.

An alternative route will be via Chalfont Road, Hornhill Road, Shire Lane, Rickmansworth Lane, Chesham Lane and Gorelands Lane.

2. that length of Rushmoor Close, Rickmansworth from its junction with Harefield Road south eastwards, north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN BALDWINS LANE, CROXLEY GREEN) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green from its junction with the A412 Watford Road roundabout north westwards to its junction with Manor Way, a distance of approximately 1291m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A412 Watford Road, The Green and Baldwins Lane.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING

RESTRICTIONS IN FURZEHILL ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Furzehill Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Ashley Drive north westwards to its junction with Cranes Way, a distance of approximately 232m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Ashley Drive, the service road fronting Nos.141A-171 Furzehill Road and Cranes Way. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN POPES ROAD, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Popes Road, Abbots Langley from its junction with Gallows Hill Lane south eastwards to its junction with Trowley Rise, a distance of approximately 177m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Gallows Hill Lane, High Street, Tibbs Hill Road and Trowley Rise.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON TOWNFIELD, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of Townfield, Rickmansworth from a point in line with the western boundary of No.36 Townfield north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 217m ("the Road"), when signs are in place. The Order is needed because duct installation works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CROXLEY GREEN PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.015) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Croxley Green Public Footpath No.015 from its junction with Baldwins Lane south westwards to its junction with Girton Way, a distance of approximately 171m ("the Public Footpath"). An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south side of Baldwins Lane, the footway situated on the east side of Lancing Way, the footway situated on the north and east sides of Malvern Way and the footway situated on the north side of Girton Way.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 October 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NORTHWAY, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Northway, Rickmansworth from a point 90m south east of its junction with Station Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Northway, Station Road, Homestead Road, A412 (Park Road/Rectory Road), A404 Riverside Drive, Church Street and Northway or via Northway, High Street, Station Road and Northway.

The Order is needed because electrical connection works are

proposed to be executed near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on

23 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the

restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated

by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF EARLS LANE, SOUTH MIMMS AND MIMMS LANE, RIDGE/SHENLEY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Earls Lane, South Mimms and Mimms Lane, Ridge/Shenley from a point 651m north west of its junction with the Blanche Lane roundabout north westwards, south westwards, north westwards, south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junctions with Harris Lane, a distance of approximately 2411m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Earls Lane, Blanche Lane, B556 (St Albans Road/Ridge Hill/Bell Lane), B5378 (Shenleybury/Black Lion Hill/London Road), Rectory Lane and Harris Lane. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A41 NORTH WESTERN AVENUE, WOODSIDE AND A41 GADESIDE, LEAVESDEN) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the

above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act

1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A41

North Western Avenue, Woodside and A41 Gadeside, Leavesden

from its junction with the A414 eastbound slip road leading onto

the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout north eastwards

for a distance of approximately 274m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via the A41 eastbound slip road leading

onto the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout, A405

North Orbital Road, Horseshoe Lane, College Road, Langley Lane,

Aerodrome Way and A41 Gadeside.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed

to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on

23 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However

the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times

indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BERRY LANE, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Berry Lane, Rickmansworth from its junction with Dog Kennel Lane south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Common Gate Road, a distance of approximately 488m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Dog Kennel Lane, A404 (Rickmansworth Road/Chenies Road/Amersham Road), Green Street, Station Approach, Chorleywood Bottom and Common Gate Road. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF RIPON WAY AND ROWLEY LANE, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-

1. that length of Ripon Way, Borehamwood from its junction with the Balmoral Drive/Ashley Drive roundabout south eastwards

to its junction with A1 Barnet Bypass Road, a distance of approximately 257m.

An alternative route will be via Ashley Drive, Furzehill Road, A411 (Barnet Lane/Barnet Road/Wood Street), A1000 High Street, A1081 St Albans Road and A1 Barnet Bypass Road or via Ashley Drive, Furzehill Road, A411 Barnet Lane and A1 Barnet Bypass Road.

2. that length of Rowley Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with Holmshill Lane south eastwards to its junction with A1 Barnet Bypass Road, a distance of approximately 30m.

An alternative route will be via Rowley Lane, A5135 Rowley Lane,

A1 Barnet Bypass Road, A411 (Barnet Road/Wood Street), A1000

High and A1 Barnet Bypass Road or via A1 Barnet Bypass Road,

A1081 St Albans Road, A1000 High Street, A411 (Wood Street/

Barnet Road), A5135 Elstree Way and Rowley Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed

to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on

23 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However

the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times

indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.5 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the south westbound carriageway of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from its junction with Wellington Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 55m.

An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way), A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove) and A412 St Albans Road.

2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from Station Road into the south westbound carriageway of A412 St Albans Road, Watford whilst works are in progress.

An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way), A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove) and A412 St Albans Road.

3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from Langley Road into the south westbound carriageway of A412 St Albans Road, Watford whilst works are in progress.

An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, A41 (North

Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way), A4008

Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen

Grove) and A412 St Albans Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed

to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on

23 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However

the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times

indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
