Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 23rd September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lenghs of road in Padstow. This prohibition is necessary for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th October 2024 to 12th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 23rd September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Gorran Haven. This prohibition is necessary for works on overhead structure and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th October 2024 to 10th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Canton Street, Gorran Haven from outside the Health Centre to outside property known as Seamew.

This prohibition is necessary for drainage installation works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th October 2024 to 9th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bugle. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th October 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 23rd September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Church Street Mevagissey between No 14 and No 18.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing oneway order The County of Cornwall (Mevagissey) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Market Square, River Street and Chapel Square (Class III) for their entire length.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because electric service cable alteration works are being executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 7th October 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 11th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 23rd September 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 18, in the Parish of Tintagel. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to an unsafe cavity beneath the footpath.

The Order will come into operation on 24th September 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 3rd March 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 3rd September 2024 for a period of up to 21 days.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
