What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) AND (7)

THE A45 TRUNK ROAD (STANWICK TO RAUNDS, NORTH NORTHAMPTONSHIRE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN LAYBYS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A45 Trunk Road, between Stanwick and Raunds, in the County of North Northamptonshire, to enable resurfacing works to be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to close,  at different times, any layby adjacent to the A45 between the roundabout junction with West Street and the access/egress road to/from Stanwick Lakes Country Park, at Stanwick, and the roundabout junction with Raunds Road and London Road, at Raunds.

The closures are expected to start at 12:00 hours on Monday 21 October 2024 and continue for eight days. The Order will come into force on 14 October 2024.

Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works or for winter maintenance purposes will be exempt from the closures.

THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (TOWCESTER TO SHAWELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF

TRAFFIC IN LAYBYS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A5 Trunk Road, between Towcester and Shawell, in the Counties of West Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire to enable resurfacing works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close any layby adjacent to the northbound and southbound carriageways of the A5 between its roundabout junction with the A43 at Towcester, and its roundabout junction with the A426 and Gibbet Lane near Shawell.

The closures are expected to start at 12:00 hours on Monday 21 October 2024 and continue for approximately 3 weeks. The Order will come into force on 14 October 2024.
