The Harrow (Waiting and Loading) (Amendment No. 141) Traffic Order 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Harrow on 16 September 2024 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Speed Limit Order will be to amend the Harrow (Speed Limit) Traffic Order 2008 to impose a maximum speed limit of 20 miles per hour in the streets specified in the Schedule to this notice.

3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order will be to introduce At Any Time Waiting Restrictions in certain lengths of Augustine Road, Parkfield Crescent and Pinner Park Avenue.

4. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 30 September 2024, of a map of the relevant area and of relevant previous Orders can be inspected until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
