ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Waiting Restrictions Croft Way, Ham.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate development works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Croft Way, Ham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Croft Way, on its north-western side from its junction with Ashburnham Road south-westwards for a distance of approximately 20 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 30 September 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Colne Road, Twickenham.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate bridge inspection works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Colne Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Colne Road Travelling northwest on Colne Road from the junction with Heath Road for approximately 30 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 25 September 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 21.00 on the 25 September to 05.00 on the 26 September 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Heath Road, The Green, Staines Road, Briar Road, and Colne Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical connection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Evelyn Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Evelyn Road outside and opposite number 20 (The Richmond Rehab Clinic)

3. The order will come into effect on 30 September 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 30 September to 04 October 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Evelyn Road, Evelyn Terrice, Jocelyn Road, A307 Kew Road, Shaftsbury Road, and Kew Foot Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Heath Road westbound from the junction with Colne Road for approximately 30 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 24 September 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 21.00 on the 24 September to 05.00 on the 25 September 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available Westbound & East Bound via Health Road, King Street, York Street, Arragon Road, London Road, Chertsey Road, Great Chertsey Road, Twickenham Road, Staines Road, and The Green.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Nelson Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Nelson Road from the junction with Kneller Road Roundabout to the junction with Seaton Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 22 September 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 09.30 to 15.30 on the 22 September 2024 only . The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Kneller Road, Hounslow Road, Nelson Road and Warren Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

THE LONDON OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO. 4) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2024 NORTH WORPLE WAY, MORTLAKE

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, on 18 September 2024 made the above Order under sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Order will come into force on 30 September 2024.

2. The effect of the Prescribed Routes Order is to introduce a restricted vehicle access point on North Worple Way, west of the junction with Avondale Road. The restriction will apply seven days a week between the hours of 7am to 7pm for westbound vehicle movements only. The restriction will not apply to residents and businesses who are eligible for an exemption permit, emergency services, hackney carriages and cyclists

3. Copies of particulars giving further details of the scheme: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 24/156, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices.

4. In pursuance of section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Assistant Director - Traffic and Engineering of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, as the specified officer, or some person authorised in that behalf by that officer may, if it appears to that officer or to that person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic, or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway, or for preserving or improving the amenities of the areas through which the roads affected by the Order runs, modify or suspend the Order or any provision thereof.

5. If the provisions of the Order continue in operation for a period of not less than six months, the Council will consider in due course whether the provisions should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of Order under section 6 of the said Act of 1984. Persons wishing to subject to or support the making of such Orders for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation in force may, within the period of six months referred to above) send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds of that objection to the address below.

6. Please address any representations to the Order to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ or by email to TrafficOrders@richmond.gov.uk quoting the reference given above.

7. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for that reason to the High Court.

to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in St Margarets Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in St Margarets Road from the junction with A305 Richmond Road to a point outside number 12.

3. The order will come into effect on 30 September 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 19.00 on the 30 September to 02.00 on the 01 October 2024 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via A305 Richmond Road, A3004 Crown Road, and St Margarets Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as Indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
