Bury - Multiple Temporary Road Closures due to Works

(ROWLAND CLOSE, BURY)
TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit members of the public from proceeding along:-
Footway between Bowland Close and Lowercroft Road, Bury (side of No.l Bowland Close to side of No.121 Lowercroft Road).
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate Electricity North West cabling works.
The alternative route will be via Lowercroft Road, Gisburn Drive and Bowland Close and vice-versa.
The Order will come into operation on Tuesday 24 September 2024 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 2 weeks.

(MARKET STREET/ANGOULEME WAY & MURRAY ROAD, BURY)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN & TEMPORARY CLOSURE
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along :-
1) Angouleme Way from Market Street, Bury (no left turn from Market Street into Angouleme Way)
2) Murray Road, Bury - full length
The alternative route for the no left turn will be via Angouleme Way, Rochdale Road & using the roundabout below junction 2 of the M66 & vice-versa.
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate gas main diversion works.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 23 September 2024 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 5 weeks (the temporary prohibition of left turn from Monday 23/09/24 for 5 weeks and the Temporary Closure of Murray Road from Monday 14/10/24 for 2 weeks, non-Market days only)

TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 202
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
3) Kenyon Street, Bury - between Taylor Street and Brook Street
4) Brook Street, Bury - between Smith Street/Kenyon Street and Geoffrey Street
5) Hornby Street, Bury - between Marsden Street and Birch Street
The alternative routes will be
1) Via Geoffrey Street, Taylor Street & Brook Street & vice-versa.
2) Via Geoffrey Street, Taylor Street & Kenyon Street & vice-versa.
3) Via Moor Street & Fox Street, via Walmersley Road (northbound) Fox Street & Moor Street, via St Mark's Square, Taylor Street, Brook Street, Moorgate, Walmersley Road (northbound) Fox Street & Moor Street
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate electricity cabling works.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 30 September 2024 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 6 weeks

(BRADLEY FOLD ROAD/PUBLIC FOOTPATH 23CC, RADCLIFFE)
TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding along:-
Bradley Fold Road/Public Footpath 23CC, Radcliffe - from a point 50m west of its junction with Bradley Lane for a distance of 70m in a westerly direction
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate gas main diversion works
The alternative route will be via Browns Road, Boundary Drive & Bradley Lane & vice-versa
The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 30 September 2024 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 4 weeks Dated 19 September 2024
