CROYDON COUNCIL

PROPOSED EXTENSION OF MATCH/ EVENT DAY PART-TIME CLOSURE

HOLMESDALE ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD.

The Croydon (Traffic Movement) (Amendment No. K26) Order 20-

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Croydon proposes to make the abovementloned Order under Section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to extend the existing part-time match/event day closure in Holmesdale Road (between Clifton Road and Upper Grove) southwestwards, to prohibit vehicles proceeding between its junctions with Upper Grove and Dagmar Road/Farnley Road. The closure would be in force for up to two hours before and at the end of a football match or an event at Selhurst Park Football Stadium to clear crowds until normal traffic operation can be resumed. The Order is intended to assist with the safety of football supporters/event attendees at matches or events at the Selhurst Park ground.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at Access Croydon, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA (Alternatively all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk).

4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design Section, 3rd Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or by emailing the Parking Design Team (email address above) quoting the reference: PD/CH/K26 by 10 October 2024.

CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS

PARCHMORE ROAD, THORNTON HEATH, FIRS ROAD & WATTENDON ROAD, KENLEY

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No. K27) Order 20-

The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No. K28) Order 20-

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

a) To introduce "at any time" double yellow line waiting restrictions in the lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

b) To update the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new arrangements as they exist on site.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, or the Council decides not to make the Orders, by appointment with the Parking Design Team, at Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA (telephone 020 8726 6000 and ask for Parking Design). Alternatively all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk.

4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, Place Department, Croydon Council, Floor 6 Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA or email Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference PD/CH/K27 & K28 by 10 October 2024.

5. The Order is intended to introduce new or amend existing waiting restrictions at various locations. The waiting restrictions are intended to address all or some of the following situations: improve safety by providing increased visibility, especially at junctions and on bends; prevent obstructive parking so that turning vehicles have sufficient manoeuvrability and improve access for all road users, especially pedestrians, cyclists, emergency, and public service vehicles.

Firs Road, Kenley

The south-west side, for 10 metres either side of its junction with Wattendon Road.

Parchmore Road, Thornton Heath

The south-west side, from the common boundary of Nos. 187 and 189 Parchmore Road to the north-western end of the partial footway parking bay outside No. 185 Parchmore Road.

Wattendon Road, Kenley

* Both sides, from its junction with Firs Road south-westward for 15 metres.

* Both sides, from the common boundary of Nos. 35 and 37 Wattendon Road to a point 4 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 20 and 22 Wattendon Road.

* Both sides, from the common boundary of Nos. 19 and 21 Wattendon Road to a point 3.6 metres west of the common boundary of Nos. 9 and 11 Wattendon Road.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic on Goodwin Road, Violet Lane and Waddon Way, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the roads will be closed as detailed below.

3. Whilst the closures are in place the diversion routes for traffic will be as specified below.

* Waddon Way Closure (Northbound) - Via Purley Way, Denning Avenue, Warham  Road, Haling Park Road, and Waddon Way

* Waddon Way Closure (Southbound) - Via Purley Way, edgehill Road, and Pampisford Road

* Goodwin Road Closure: Via Waddon Way, Haling Park Road, Warham road, Denning Avenue, Purley Way, and Waddon Way.

* Violet Lane Closure: Via Violet Gardens, and Goodwin Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 19 September 2024, and it is aniticipated that the work will be carried out as shown above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS GREENSIDE ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new gas connection works by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic movements in Greenside Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Greenside Road will be closed outside No. 43 Greenside Road.

b) One-way working in Greenside Road will be suspended to allow two-way traffic.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via London Road, Midhurst Avenue and Sutherland Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 September 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in seven days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROCKMOUNT ROAD. UPPER NORWOOD

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works on behalf of Thames Water they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Rockmount Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Rockmount Road will be closed between its junction with Central Hill and High View Road.

3. During the closure the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately sign-posted.

* Via Central Hill, Essex Grove, and Troy Road.

* Via Rockmount Road, Orleans Road and Vermont Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 21 September 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within approximately two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction will not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

LEDBURY PLACE. CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Ledbury Place, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Ledbury Place will be closed between its junction with Ledbury Road and the northern boundary of No. 3 Ledbury Place.

3. During the closure, the alternative routes for traffic will be via Aberdeen Road, South End, and Ledbury Road, or via Ledbury Road, Heathfield Road, and Aberdeen Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 07 October 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within seven days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction will not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
