What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PARK LANE AND SELDEN HILL, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-

1. that length of Park Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Paradise south eastwards to its junction with Selden Hill, a distance of approximately 106m.

An alternative route will be via Paradise, Wood Lane, A414 St Albans Road, the Jarman Way roundabout, A414 St Albans Road and Selden Hill.

2.  that length of Selden Hill, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Park Lane south westwards to its junction with Wolsey Road, a distance of approximately 59m.

An alternative route will be via Paradise, Wood Lane, A414 St Albans Road, the Jarman Way roundabout, A414 St Albans Road and Selden Hill.

The Order is needed because gas works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 14 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BROWNLOW ROAD, BERKHAMSTED) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Brownlow Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with Station Road south eastwards to its junction with Lower Kings Road, a distance of approximately 56m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Brownlow Road, Bridgewater Road, Billet Lane, A4251 (Gossoms End/High Street) and Lower Kings Road. The Order is needed because bridge works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 13 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHAMBERSBURY LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Chambersbury Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Bedmond Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 70m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Bedmond Road, A4147 (Leverstock Green Road/ Leverstock Green Way), A414 St Albans Road, Bennetts End Road, Peascroft Road, Northend and Chambersbury Lane.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF OLD FISHERY LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Old Fishery Lane, Hemel Hempstead from a point in line with the northern boundary of ‘Heron House’ south westwards for a distance of approximately 60m (“the Road”).

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 26 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NETTLEDEN ROAD, POTTEN END/ FRITHSDEN) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Nettleden Road, Potten End/Frithsden from its junction with Frithsden Copse north eastwards for a distance of approximately 195m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Vicarage Road, The Front, Water End Road, Potten End Hill, B440 (Leighton Buzzard Road/Dagnall Road), Hudnall Lane and Nettleden Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN COBBETTS RIDE AND ABSTACLE HILL, TRING) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Cobbetts Ride, Tring from its junction with Miswell Lane south westwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via Miswell Lane, Barbers Walk and Abstacle Hill.

2.  that length of Abstacle Hill, Tring from its junction with Barbers Walk south eastwards to its junction with Cobbetts Ride, a distance of approximately 74 m.

An alternative route will be via Barbers Walk, Miswell Lane and Cobbetts Ride.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PEPSAL END LANE, PEPPERSTOCK) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Pepsal End Lane, Pepperstock from its junction with C156 (unnamed road) north eastwards for a distance of approximately 992m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via C156 (unnamed road), Coles Lane, Annables Lane, The Common, A1081 Luton Road, Half Moon Lane and Pepsal End Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions in parts of Hemel Hempstead as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals may be viewed from 25 September 2024 during office hours, at Main Reception, County Hall, Hertford, or on-line at  www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting Dacorum and looking at Ref: D01524.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to amend and revoke existing waiting restrictions in parts of Hemel Hempstead as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
