(WAITING, LOADING AND PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION)

(AMENDMENT NO. **) ORDER 2024

105855 BRADFORD WEST AREA 24/25

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce, amend or remove the following: -

i. 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions on lengths of Wallis Street, Barnes Road, Cousen Road, Cape Street, Godfrey Street, Thornton Road, Oaks Drive, Oaks Lane, Vivien Road, Raven Terrace, Charteris Road, Chapel Lane, Thom Lane, Cowley Crescent, Thorn Grove, Thorn Avenue, Thorn Drive, Duchy Avenue, Duchy Grove, Park Drive, Keighley Road, Northdale Road, Emm Lane, Emmfield Drive, Home View Terrace, Heaton Road, Springcliffe Street, Midland Road, Lincoln Road, Arnold Street, Queens Road, Girlington Road, Thorn Street and Westfield Road, Alan Street, Easby Road, Summerville Road, Bowland Street, Listerhills Road and Arthur Avenue.

ii. 'Limited Waiting 2 Hours (Return Prohibited Within 1 Hour) Monday to Friday Between 8am To 6pm' on length of Listerhills Road.

iii. 'Limited Waiting 2 Hours (Return Prohibited Within 2 Hours) Monday to Saturday Between 8am - 6pm' on length of Summerville Road and Bowland Street.

iv. 'No Waiting Monday To Friday 8am-9.15am and 2.45pm - 3.30pm Between 1 September and 31 July' on lengths of Sowden Road and Haworth Road.

v. 'Blue Badge Parking Place' on lengths of Worthington Street, Lennon Drive, Upper Woodlands Road, Toller Lane, Pearson Lane, Duckworth Grove Waverley Road and Dirkhill Road.

vi. 'No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am - 6.30pm' on length of Saplin Street.

vii. 'No Waiting Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 4pm between 1 September to 31 July' on lengths of Whitby Terrace and Fairbank Road.

viii. 'Revocation of existing No Waiting at Any Time' on length of Aberdeen Place and Back Apsley Crescent.

ix. 'Revocation of existing Blue Badge Parking Place' on lengths of Lynthorne Road, Leamington Street, Whitby Terrace, Heidelberg Road and Easby Road.

x. 'Revocation of existing No Waiting Monday - Friday 8.30am -9.15pm and 2.45pm - 3.30pm Between 1 September and 31 July' on lengths of Sowden Road and Haworth Road.

xi. 'Revocation of existing Limited Waiting 2 Hours (Return Prohibited Within 1 Hour) Monday to Friday Between 8am To 6pm' on length of Easby Road.

A copy of the draft Order together with a maps showing the affected roads and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY, or examined on the council web site at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order or obtained from Martin Adams, Senior Technician - Traffic & Road Safety South - Planning, Transportation & Highways, by telephone on 01274 435662 or by email martin.adams@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number HS/TRSS/105855/MA.
