CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

STRONG CLOSE ROAD, KEIGHLEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Strong Close Road, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Strong Close Road from a point at the rear of No. 7 Riverside to a point at the rear of No. 7 Riverside.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Strong Close Road (Unaffected section), Dalton Road, Middle Way, Strong Close Grove and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into force at 08:00 hours on the 3rd October 2024 until 18:00 hours on the 4th October 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
