Bournemouth, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures due to Electrical Improvement Works
What is happening?
BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH
AND POOLE COUNCIL ELECTRICAL WORKS - PAISLEY ROAD AND ASSOC. ROADS, BOURNEMOUTH TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN:
The following will be closed to all vehicles with no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/ unloading at any time -
Paisley Road, from the junction with Castlemain Avenue to the junction with Watcombe Road -phased closures, anticipated dates from 30th September 2024 up to and including
21st October 2024
Seafield Road, from the junction with Cranleigh Road to the junction with Iford Lane - phased closures, anticipated dates from 30th September 2024 up to and including 19th October 2024 Cranleigh Road, from the junction with Watcombe Road to the junction with Seafield Road -anticipated dates from 26th October 2024 up to and including 3rd November 2024 Parkwood Road, from the junction with Christchurch Road to the junction with Colonnade Road - anticipated dates from 26th October 2024 up to and including 1st November 2024 Gloucester Road, from the junction with Christchurch Road to the junction with Tamworth Road - anticipated dates from 1st November 2024 up to and including 22nd November 2024 Watcombe Road, from the junction with Paisley Road to the junction with Cranleigh Road -phased closures, anticipated dates from 6th November 2024 up to and including 5th December 2024
The traffic managment during these works will involve three-way temporary signals on Iford Lane - anticipated dates 21st October 2024 until 22nd October 2024. WHY: To enable SSEN to carry out electrical improvement works
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety. DIVERSION: Via signed routes VIEW AT: https://one.network/?tm=139882356 These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
