Temporary Road Closures Talbot Road
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 16 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR AN EVENT.
Talbot Road, to be closed from the junction of Powis Terrace to Powis Mews.
To be closed from 01.00hrs until 23.30hrs on Sunday 6th October 2024.
Diverted through traffic may use Talbot Road, Powis Terrace, Westbourne Park Road, Ledbury Road, Talbot Road.
The One-way working of Talbot Road is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
