What is happening?

PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (PRE-PATCHING 2024/2025) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), have made an Order the effect of which is:

  1. To prohibit the driving, parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in:

    Stenlake Terrace

    for its entirety

    Beaconfield Road

    for its entirety

    Dunnet Road for its entirety

    Longbridge Close/Marsh Close for their entireties

    Roman Way for its entirety

    Segrave Road

    for its entirety

    Princess Street Ope for its entirety

    Ford Park Lane

    for its entirety

    Ashleigh Close for its entirety

    Chestnut Avenue

    for its entirety

    Pomphlett Gardens

    for its entirety

    Princess Street

    for its entirety

    Eggbuckland Road between Deer Park Road and Shallowford Road

    Clittaford Road between Kinnaird Crescent and Langley Crescent

    Culver Way between the west junction of Speedwell Crescent and Frogmore Avenue

    Staddon Lane between Staddon Heights Golf Club and Hooe Lane

    Hooe Lane between Bovisand Lane and Hooe Hill

    Old Laira Road (old) between number 318 and 278

    Plymbridge Road between Novorossiysk Road and Wood Park

    Furneaux Road between North Prospect Road and West Down Road

    Granby Way between number 1 and Vivid Approach

    Lanhydrock Road between Greenbank Avenue and Seymour Avenue

    Eggbuckland Road between Higher Compton Road and Brandreth Road

The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading & unloading will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.

The Order shall come into force on 7th October 2024 and shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months.

It is anticipated that pre-patching and all associated works will take place at the above locations between 7th October 2024 until 20th December 2024. Advance warning boards will be displayed on site at each location to communicate exact dates and times nearer the time.
