TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD
ORDER 2024
On the 12 September 2024 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises to restrict vehicular access on a section of B764 Moor Road, Eaglesham, from the access road to Whitelee Windfarm up to the boundary with East Ayrshire Council, in order to facilitate the essential carriageway resurfacing works scheduled to be carried from Friday 11 October until Sunday 20 October 2024.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Diversion Route: B764 Moor Road - A77 Ayr Road - Mearns Road – Humbie Road - Gilmour Street - Polnoon Street - B764 Moor Road and vice versa.
