What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council has made the
following Temporary Traffic Orders:
DRAYCOTE ROAD, DRAYCOTE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to recover out of use BT pole.
Order Commences: 26 September 2024 for up to
18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 26 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Draycote Road, Lias Line
Cycleway, Straight Mile, Main Street and vice versa.
Contractor: Telent TM, Tel: 07929 381 098.
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make
the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
C174 BIRDINGBURY ROAD, MARTON AND C174
MARTON ROAD/LEAMINGTON HASTINGS ROAD,
BIRDINGBURY
Order Effect: Road closed between A423 Coventry
Road and Stockton Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing works,
closed 08.00hrs-17.00hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 7 October 2024 for up to
18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 14 October 2024.
Access & Diversion: Stockton Road, A426, A423
and vice versa.
Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to
businesses and residents only.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
WOOD STREET, RUGBY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install new water
connection.
Order Commences: 7 October 2024 for up to
18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 October 2024.
Access & Diversion: Wood Street, Railway Terrace,
Church Street, North Street, Park Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Network Plus, Tel: 01332 820 920.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian
access to and egress from properties and land
situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed
will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will
be maintained where possible.
