Bus Lane & Waiting Restriction Proposals for Exeter

Devon County Council propose to make these under the Road Traffic Regulation Act: DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (FORE STREET, HEAVITREE, EXETER) (BUS LANE) AMENDMENT ORDER 6191 to amend  Bus Lane times of operation to Mon- Sat 7am-7pm on a specified length of Fore Street, Heavitree; DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (FORE STREET AREA, HEAVITREE, EXETER) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) AMENDMENT ORDER 6192 to introduce  No Waiting At Any Time/Car Club Vehicles At Any Time on specified lengths of North Street, Heavitree; No Waiting Mon-Sat 7am-7pm/No Loading Mon-Sat 7am-7pm/Loading Only Mon-Sat Midnight-7am, 7pm-Midnight & Sun At Any Time on specified lengths of Fore Street, Heavitree; DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (HEAVITREE ROAD, EXETER) (BUS LANE) AMENDMENT ORDER 6193 to extend Bus Lane At Any Time on a specified length of Heavitree Road; DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (HEAVITREE ROAD, EXETER) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) AMENDMENT ORDER 6194 to introduce No Waiting At Any Time/ No Loading 7am-9.30am & 4pm-7pm/Residents Parking At Any Time Zone P on specified lengths of Heavitree Road. Residents, charity business occupier, supported living, school business, motorcycle, scooter & other vehicles band A permits £35 annually, other vehicles bands B–K 1st permit £35, 2nd permit £55, 3rd permit £65; bands L-M 1st permit £35, extra permits £65; virtual visitor permits £30 per issue (350 hours - allocated in 1 hour sessions), physical 24 hour visitor permits £30 for 30 permits, essential visitor permits £10 annually, business permits annual cost: 1st permit £35, 2nd permit £75, 3rd permit £150; guest house/hotel visitors permit £30 for 20 permits; annual trade permit £45, short stay trade permits £60 for 20, daily trade permit £5, weekly trade permit £25; care worker permits are free; DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (PINHOE ROAD, EXETER) (BUS LANE) AMENDMENT ORDER 6195 to amend Bus Lane times of operation to Mon-Sat 7am-10am on specified lengths of Pinhoe Road; DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (PINHOE ROAD, EXETER) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) AMENDMENT ORDER 6196 to introduce No Waiting/No Loading Mon-Sat 7am-10am on specified lengths of Pinhoe Road; DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (HONITON ROAD, EXETER) (BUS LANE) AMENDMENT ORDER 6197 to amend Bus Lane times of operation to Mon-Sat 7am-10am on a specified length of Honiton Road; DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (HONITON ROAD, EXETER) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) AMENDMENT ORDER 6198 to introduce No Waiting/No Loading Mon-Sat 7am-10am & 4pm-7pm on specified lengths of Honiton Road. Where appropriate there will be the usual exemptions including those in relation to picking up/setting down passengers, loading/unloading goods & disabled persons vehicles. Draft orders, orders being amended, plans & statement of reasons may be seen at devon.cc/exeterbsip. Free bookable computer use is available during the opening hours of Devon Libraries. Documents are also available to view during normal office hours at the address below. Objections & other comments specifying the proposal & the grounds on which they are made must be in writing to the address below or via devon.cc/exeterbsip to arrive by 10 October 2024. Receipt of submissions may not be acknowledged but those received will be considered. If you make a submission be aware that comments will be anonymised prior to being sent to appropriate committee members for consideration or being published on our website.
