What is happening?
(A702 DALRY – EDINBURGH VIA THORNHILL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close A702 Scar Bridge, Penpont from 0900 on 03/10/24 to 1700 on 03/10/24. The closure is necessary to facilitate bridge inspection by over-under access machine.
Alternative route available via A702, B729, A76(T), A702 Thornhill and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(U478N HAYFIELD) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily suspend parking on U748n outside Burnbrae Cottages, Thornhill from 30/09/24 to 17/12/24, 07:00 to 16:00 weekdays only and only when indicated by display of signs appropriate under the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.. The suspension is necessary to facilitate vehicle movements travelling to and from work site.
Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
