What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd mewn grym o 01/10/2024 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r rhan honno o Ffordd Cefn, Wrecsam o’i chyffordd gyda Redwither Lane i’w chyffordd gyda’r gylchfan ar gyfer Sesswick Way i gyfeiriad y dwyrain am bellter o 1150 metr fel y gall Lewis & Hunter i roi wyneb newydd ar y ffordd ar ran Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam.

Y ffordd amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan gau’r ffordd yw ar hyd Sesswick Way, A525 Ffordd Bangor, Marchwiail, Bryn y Grog, A525 Bryn-y-Grog, Ffordd Abenbury a Ffordd Cefn, a bydd arwyddion i ddangos hyn. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr gydol y cyfnod cau.

Mae disgwyl i’r gwaharddiad bara am o leiaf 12 noson neu lai os bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau’n gynt, ond dim mwy na 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 01/10/2024 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Cefn Road, Wrexham from its junction with Redwither Lane to its junction with the roundabout for Sesswick Way, in an easterly direction for a distance of 1150 metres to enable Lewis & Hunter to resurface the carriageway on behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Sesswick Way, A525 Bangor Road, A525 Wrexham Road, Marchwiel, Bryn y Grog, A525, Bryn-y-Grog Hill, Abenbury Road and Cefn Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 12 nights, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
