What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON BUXTON DRIVE AND BRISBANE ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 14 October 2024 to 24 October 2024
WHERE: Buxton Drive, from its junction with East Avenue to its junction with Brisbane Road and Rangemoor Close and Brisbane Road, from its junction with Buxton Drive and Rangemoor Close to its junction with Onslow Road
REASON: Carriageway resurfacing
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: East Avenue – Station Road – Onslow Road – Brisbane Road and the same in the opposite direction.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON ACORN WAY, DERBY
WHEN: 09 October 2024 to 10 October 2024
WHERE: Acorn Way, from its junction with Derby Road to its junction with Morley Road
REASON: Highways Maintenance
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Morley Road – Chaddesden Lane – Nottingham Road – Derby Road and the same in the opposite direction.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished. Anyone needing further information should ring Brendan Horgan on (01332) 641824 or email traffic.management@derby.gov.uk
