If you wish to question the validity of the Order (which was made on 18 of September 2024) or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the 18 of September 2024 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON MONDAY 23 DAY OF SEPTEMBER 2024.
The proposed introduction of a secondary disabled bay will provide additional facilities for users of the nearby temple, along with local businesses. The proposed extension of the RPZ will reduce sign clutter in this area, whilst maintaining the consistency of the parking restrictions on this road. There would be no longer the requirement to paint road markings (double yellow lines and kerb bars) thus reducing the cost of maintenance.
