HIGH HOYLAND LANE, HIGH HOYLAND
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order has been made to close High Hoyland Lane, from Bank End Lane to outside Chapel House, from 21 September 2024 for approximately one day.
Reason: tree trimming/felling around electric overhead cables.
An alternative route is available via: New Road/Bark House Lane/Lane Head Road/Tivy Dale/Taylor Hill/Darton Road/Cawthorne Lane/Upperfield Lane.

An order has been made to close South Road, from Gate Crescent to Queens Drive southern access, from 23 September 2024 for approximately two weeks, weekdays only.

An order has been made to introduce a one-way restriction on Rotherham Road allowing traffic to travel from Meadow View towards Pontefract Road, from 7.00 pm on 23 September 2024 to 6.00 am 24 September 2024

An order has been made to introduce a 40mph speed restriction on Cawthorne Road, from Barugh Green Road to outside Thistle Close, from 8.00 pm 27 September 2024 to 5.00 am 28 September 2024.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
An order will be made to introduce the following restrictions on the below roads from 30 September 2024.
Wath Road; temporary road closure from house number 130 to house number 160, for approximately four weeks. An alternative route is available via, Wath Road/Fitzwilliam Street/Hill Street/Cobcar Street/Cobcar Lane.
Wath Road; temporary prohibition of parking from house number 130 to house number 160, for approximately 10 months.
Cobcar Lane; temporary prohibition of parking from Wath Road to Strafford Avenue, for approximately 10 months.
Reason: Install new sewer infrastructure.
