THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) AMENDMENT No. * ORDER 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under 6, 32, 33, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called "the Act") and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act propose to make the above Orders, the effect of which will be to:

  1. Introduce ‘No Waiting at any time’ restrictions at the following locations:

  2. Provost Way, west side, from a point in line with the north-eastern building line of No 25 Campus Avenue in a northerly direction to the southern building line of No 1 Provost Way.

  3. Chancellor Way, south-east side, from a point 10 metres west of the western building line of No 21 Chancellor Way for a distance of 5.3 meters in a south-westerly direction.

  4. Felhurst Crescent, north and west side, from a point in line with the shared boundary of No 10 and 12 Felhurst Crescent in an easterly then northerly direction for 16 metres.

  • Introduce ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ restrictions at the following locations:

  • Beverley Road, south and west side, from a point 0.8 metres east of the extended common boundary of No’s 12 and 14 Beverley Road for 36.3 metres in a westerly and then northerly direction.

  • Wood Lane, south-east side, from a point in line with the extended common boundary of No’s 112 and 114 Wood Lane for 5.7 metres in an easterly direction.

  • Wood Lane, south-east side, from a point in line with the extended common boundary of No’s 188 and 190 Wood Lane for 5.8 metres in an easterly direction.

  • Introduce a ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ bay at the following locations:

  • Agnes Gardens, south side, outside No 20 Agnes Gardens.

  • Ely Gardens, north side, outside No’s 2 and 4 Ely Gardens.

  • Longbridge Road, north side, outside No 925 Longbridge Road.

  • Whalebone Avenue, east side, outside No 20 Whalebone Avenue.

  • Introduce ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone STR Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bays, the current charges applicable being those set out in this Order, at the following locations:

  • Beverley Road, south side, from a point in line with the extended common boundary of No’s 6 and 8 Beverley Road for 10 metres in a westerly direction.

  • Beverley Road, north side, from a point in line with the extended common boundary of No’s 10 and 12 Beverley Road for 18.5 metres in a westerly direction.

  • Replace part of the ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ restrictions with a ‘Loading only Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm 30mins No return within 2hrs’ 2 up/ 2 down bay on Farr Avenue, west side, from the common boundary of No’s 10 and 12 Farr Avenue for 7.5 metres in a southerly direction.

  • Replace the ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ restrictions with ‘No Waiting at any time’ restrictions on Listowel Road, south side, opposite No’s 80 to 86 Listowel Road.

  • Extend the ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 1.30am-2.30pm’ restrictions on Edgefield Avenue, north side, outside property No 45 and 57 Edgefield Avenue.

  • Replace part of the ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ restriction with a ‘No Waiting at any time’ restriction on Roycraft Avenue, south-east side, from a point 10.7 metres east of its junction with Maud Gardens for 13.3 metres in a westerly direction.

  • Replace the ‘No waiting Mon-Sat 8.30am-9pm’ restriction with ‘Permit Holders Only Zone FG Mon-Sat 8.30am-9pm’ bays on Faircross Avenue, north-east side, opposite Nos. 111-115 Faircross Avenue. The current charges applicable being those set out in this Order.

  • Replace part of the ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ restrictions with a ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone WB Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay on Stansgate Road, south-west side, from a point 4 meters south-east of the extended common boundary of No’s 41 and 43 Stansgate Road for 6 meters in a southerly direction. The current charges applicable being those set out in this Order.

  • Replace part of the ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ restrictions with a ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone TH Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay on Roycraft Avenue, east side, from a point 2.7 meters south the common boundary of No’s 139 and 141 & 143 Roycraft Avenue for 13 meters in a southerly direction. The current charges applicable being those set out in this Order.

  • Replace the ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ restriction with shared use ‘Payment Parking (TC2) Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm Max stay 4hrs No return within 2hrs/Permit Holders Only Zone STR Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bays on Hobart Road, south-west side, from a point 2.2 metres south-east of the boundary line of No’s 7 and 9 Hobart Road for 7 metres in a south-easterly direction. The current charges applicable being those set out in this Order.

  • Replace the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon-Fri 1.30pm-2.30pm’ bay with a ‘No Waiting at any time’ restriction on Edgefield Avenue, south side, outside No 30 Edgefield Avenue.

  • Replace part of the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone D Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay with a ‘No Waiting at any time’ restriction on Cecil Avenue, south-west side, outside No 11 Cecil Avenue.

  • Replace part of the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone TH Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay with a ‘No Waiting at any time’ restriction on Bastable Avenue, north side, from a point 5.8 metres west of the extended common boundary of No’s 199-203 and 201-205 Bastable Avenue for approximately 4 metres in a westerly direction.

  • Replace part of the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone EM Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay with a ‘No Waiting at any time’ restriction on Eastbury Square, west side, from a point 10 metres north of its junction with Denham Way for a distance of 3.8 metres in a northerly direction.

  • Replace part of the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone WB Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay with a ‘No Waiting at any time’ restriction on Listowel Road, south side, from a point 17.3 metres east of its junction with Uvedale Road for approximately 3 metres in an easterly direction.

  • Replace the shared use ‘Payment Parking (TC2) Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm Max stay 4hrs No return within 2hrs/Permit Holders Only Zone RCS Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bays with a ‘No Waiting at any time’ restriction on Gosfield Road, north side, outside the Robert Clack School of Science.

  • Replace part of the shared use ‘Permit Holders Only Zone GE Mon-Sat 8.30am-9pm/Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8.30am-9pm 1hr No return within 2hrs’ bay with a ‘No Waiting at any time’ restriction on Boundary Road, south-east side, from a point in line with the north-eastern building line of No’s 120 to 128 Boundary Road for 3 metres in a north-easterly direction.

  • Replace the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone RCS Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bays with ‘Payment Parking (TC2) Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm Max stay 4hrs No return within 2hrs’ bays on Gosfield Road, south side, outside No’s 89 to 95 Gosfield Road. The current charges applicable being those set out in this Order.

  • Replace part of the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone HW Mon-Sat 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay with a ‘No waiting Mon-Sat 8.30am-5.30pm’ restriction on Hunters Square, south side, outside No 227 Hunters Square.

  • Replace part of the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone STR Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay with a ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ restrictions at the following locations:

  • Hewett Road, south-east side outside No 27 Hewett Road.

  • Hewett Road, south-east side outside No 37 Hewett Road.

  • Hewett Road, south-east side outside No 48 Hewett Road.

  • Hewett Road, south-east side outside No 101 Hewett Road.

  • Hewett Road, south-east side outside No 117 Hewett Road.

  • Replace part of the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone WB Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay with ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ restrictions at the following locations:

  • Calverley Crescent, east side, outside No’s 1a and 1b Calverley Crescent.

  • Listowel Road, west side, outside No 15 Listowel Road.

  • Rusholme Avenue, south side, outside 49 Rusholme Avenue.

  • Renwick Road, west side, from a point 29 metres north of Steel Approach for 29 metres in a northerly direction.

  • Farr Avenue, west side, outside No’s 40 to 50 Maybury Road.

  • Farr Avenue, east side, outside No’s 52 to 62 Maybury Road.

  • Farr Avenue, south side, from a point 20.8 metres west of its eastern arm for 24.6 metres in a westerly direction.

  • Replace part of the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone BM Mon-Fri 8.30am-4pm’ bay with a ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ bay on Whitebarn Lane, east side, from a point 2 metres north of the southern building line of No’s 144 to 166 Whitebarn Lane for 6 metres in a southerly direction.

  • Replace part of the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone BEC Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay with a ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ bay on Rothwell Gardens, west side, from a point 6 metres north of the common boundary of No’s 3 and 4 Rothwell Gardens for 6 metres in a northerly direction.

  • Replace the ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ bay with a ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone H Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay on Netherfield Gardens, north-east side, outside No 27 Netherfield Gardens. The current charges applicable being those set out in this Order.

  • Replace the ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ bay with a ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone G Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay on Harpour Road, north-east side, outside No 10 Harpour Road. The current charges applicable being those set out in this Order.

  • Revoke the ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ bay on Ely Gardens, north side, outside No 8 Ely Gardens.

  • Revoke part of the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone BEC Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay on Porters Avenue south-east side, from a point 3.5 metres south-west of the common boundary of No’s 303 and 305 and Porters Avenue for 5 metres in a south-westerly direction.

  • Revoke the ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone CH Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bays at the following locations:

  • Butler Road south-east side, outside No’s 46 and 48 Butler Road.

  • Mayesbrook Road north-east side, outside No’s 70 and 72 Mayesbrook Road.

  • Replace part of the shared use ‘Payment Parking (TC2) Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm Max stay 4hrs No return within 2hrs/Permit Holders Only Zone WB Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ bay with a ‘No Waiting at any time’ restriction on Stansgate Road, east side, from a point 18 metres south of its junction with Listowel Road for a distance of 5.5 metres in a southerly direction.

  • Revoke part of the 2-wheel parking on Rosslyn Avenue, west side, from a point 1 metre south of the common boundary of No’s 36 & 36 and 38 & 40 Rosslyn Avenue for 6 metres in a southerly direction.

  • Replace part of the existing ‘Off-Street Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon-Fri 1.30pm-2.30pm’ bay with an ‘Off-Street Disabled Blue Badge Holders Only’ bay, in the Rear of Longbridge Road Area Car Park, south-east side, from a point 19 metres south-west of its junction with Westrow Drive for a distance of 8 metres in a south-westerly direction.

  • Residents of Newbury Close and 2a-d Stansgate Road will not be eligible to apply for WB Visitor Permits. However residents of Newbury Close and 2a-d Stansgate Road will be able to apply for NC Visitor Permits. The streets and parts of streets eligible to apply for a Zone NC Resident Permit are listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
