PUBLIC NOTICE

LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. 226) Order 2024 The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. 139) Order 2024. The Bromley (Free Parking Places) (Time Restricted) Order 1997 (Amendment No. 35) Order 2024.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 3rd September 2024 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Orders will come into operation on 19th September 2024.

The effect of the Orders will be to:

(a) introduce/extend waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(b) convert existing waiting restrictions operating 10am to 12noon on Mondays to Fridays inclusive to operating at any time in Clockhouse Road outside and adjacent to No. 2 Clockhouse Road, and outside and adjacent to No. 5 Clockhouse Road;

(c) reduce the length of an existing shared use: permit holders/short term parking in Clockhouse Road opposite No. 2 Clockhouse Road by a distance of 4.5 metres;

(d) increase the length of an existing shared use: permit holders/short term parking place in Clockhouse Road outside Clockhouse Court by a distance of 4.5 metres.

Copies of the Orders may be inspected by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

ALBEMARLE ROAD, Beckenham ,(a) the south side, (i) from a point 10m east of the eastern kerbline of Hazlehurst to a point 10m west of the western kerbline of Hazlehurst.

BRINDLEWICK GARDENS, Beckenham,(a) both sides, (i) from the western kerbline of Worsley Bridge Road westwards for a distance of 3.2m.

CHURCHSIDE CLOSE, Biggin Hill, (a) both sides, (i) from the south western kerbline of Sunningvale Avenue south westwards for a distance of 10m.

CLOCK HOUSE ROAD, (the northern north east to southwest arm) Beckenham, (a) the north west side, (i) from the north eastern kerbline of the north west to south east arm of Clock House Road north eastwards for a distance of 7m. COPERS COPE ROAD, Beckenham, (a) both sides, (i) from the south western kerbline of Worsley Bridge Road south westwards for a distance of 10m.

SUNDRIDGE AVENUE, Bromley, (a) the north side, (i) from a point 1m east of the western boundary of No 1 Sundridge Avenue eastwards for a distance of 15m.

SUNNINGVALE AVENUE, Biggin Hill,(a) the south west side, (i) from a point 10m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Churchside Close to a point 10m north west of the north western kerbline of Churchside Close .
