What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Moon Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Moon Lane - from the junction with Taunton Road to Spanish Hill. A total distance of 737 metres. This Order will enable Teligent Ltd to require the use of a crane to access telecoms mast on behalf of MBNL.

The Order becomes effective on 1st October 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 8th October 2024 and last until 8th October 2024 between the hours of 08:00 -17:00 for a total of 9 hours.
