Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 (As Amended)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): Order No. MCC140264817:
The City of Manchester (Various Streets, Chorlton Park Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Chatburn Road,
Chestnut Avenue, Hurstville Road, Oak Avenue, Redland Crescent, & White Moss Avenue, Chorlton Park Ward.
The alternative routes for traffic will be: Signed Locally.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing works.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from 23rd September 2024 to 4th October 2024. The order shall come into operation on 23rd September 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
