What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

Notice is hereby given that on 16 September 2024, Angus Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that a gas connection may be undertaken.

The Order will come into force on 23 September 2024, from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of 11 days. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months.

The Order prohibits all vehicular traffic from waiting and loading at any time on or in the road at Keptie Street Arbroath; (north side); from a point 42 metres or thereby east of its junction with Lochlands Street (B964) extending in a easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres or thereby. Keptie Street Arbroath; (south side); from a point 26 metres or thereby east of its junction with Lochlands Street (B964) extending in a easterly direction for a distance of 25 metres or thereby.

Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. There is no alternative route.
