Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C65 Oridge Street outside of the property known as ‘Yew Tree Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 30 metres.

The reason for the closure is for drainage works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 490528 SUFFOLK PARADE (PARK WARD) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 490528 Suffolk Parade, from its junction with Daffodil Street to outside the property known as ‘No. 24 Suffolk Parade’ for a distance of approximately 60 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pipe works by Severn Trent Water.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF B4079 PAMINGTON ROAD (ASHCHURCH RURAL PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the B4079 Pamington Road from its junction with the A46 to its junction with the A435 for a total distance of approximately 2.4 kilometres.

The reason for the said closure is for road lining and anti-skid installation works.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE U40341 SCHOOL HOUSE HASFIELD TO GREAT HOUSE HASFIELD (HASFIELD PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the U30341 School House Hasfield to Great House Hasfield Road from its junction with Great House Lane to outside the property known as ‘Grove Cottage’ for a total distance of approximately 150 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for overhead network cabling works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH AAS 65 AND PART OF THE GLOUCESTERSHIRE WAY (ASHCHURCH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order to temporarily close under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath AAS 65 and part of the Gloucestershire Way from its junction with the road, Homedowns and then extends in a generally easterly direction approximately 10 metres to its junction with the road, Natton.

The Public Footpath falls in Ashchurch Parish in the Tewkesbury Borough and in the County of Gloucestershire; The closure is necessary to safeguard the health and safety of the public for the track renewal of the level crossing.

The Public Footpath is expected to be closed from 21:00 hours on 28th September 2024 until 04:00 hours on 30th September 2024. However, the Order can permit the closure of the Public Footpath for up to six months from the date of the initial closure. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

Alternative Routes – As indicated on Order Plan. Emergency and Pedestrian access to adjoining premises will not be maintained due to nature of works being carried out.

TEMPORARY ROAD AND FOOTWAY CLOSURE C9037 ALSTONE LANE (ST MARK’S AND ST PETER’S WARDS) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C9037 Alstone Lane and its footway from its junction with Rowanfield Road to its junction with St George’s Business Park for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The reason for the closures is for barrier maintenance works at Alstone Level Crossing.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH ASO 7 (STOKE ORCHARD PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) parts of Public Footpath ASO 7 in the Parish of Stoke Orchard from its junction with Bozard Lane and then extending in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 90 metres.

The said Public Footpath falls within the Parish of Stoke Orchard in the Tewkesbury Borough, within the County of Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst solar farm construction works are completed.

This temporary closure Order came into force on the 18th April 2024 but as works are still ongoing, the Secretary of State has granted an extension of the Order until 17th April 2025, or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
